We´re proud to announce that our short Bendik & The Monster has been selected by the LUCAS childrens film festival.
Our short Bendik & The Monster just won the arward for best animated short during the 20th Palm Springs international shortfilm festival. Big thanks to producer and director Frank for having us onboard!

January 10, 2013. Kon-Tiki, the Norwegian epic, has been nominated for an Oscar in the "Best Foreign Language Film" category.
Gimpville is proud of taking part in the production of the epic movie, Kon-Tiki. We wish Aage Aaberge, Roenberg and Nordisk Film all the best before the Academy Awards show.
Gimpville was one of the key VFX vendors on the Kon-Tiki production and completed more than 10 minutes worth of screen time. VFX Supervisor, Lars Erik Hansen, supervised and planned the visual effects of the entire movie during pre-production on behalf of Aage Aaberge and Nordisk Film Production.
The Oscars are awarded in Los Angeles on 24 February. Kon-Tiki will be competing against Michael Haneke’s Amour (Austria), Nikolaj Arcel’s A Royal Affair (Denmark), Pablo Larráin’s NO (Chile) and Kim Nguyen’s War Witch (Canada).
Kon-Tiki is also, as the first Norwegian movie ever, nominated for a Golden Globe. The Golden Globe awards take place on Sunday 13 February.
Kon-Tiki has been seen by almost 900.000 Norwegians and has been sold to more than 50 countries. On 10 December it was released on DVD/Blu-Ray and has sold 327.000 units.
The movie was directed by Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning. It was written by Petter Skavlan was produced by Aage Aaberge for Nordisk Film Production and by Jeremy Thomas for Recorded Picture Company.
